Mid-Level Software Developer - AI, Backend & Data Systems

The technology department of a growing ecommerce company, is expanding and is looking for an experienced Mid-Level developer to play a central role in building its technology core.
The role includes end-to-end development of internal systems, leading the architecture of complex API integrations, developing advanced automation processes, and integrating AI tools and language models (LLMs) into Production. The work takes place in a dynamic environment, reporting to the technology department manager and working directly with company management.
Responsibilities:
• End-to-end development: design, build and maintain Backend environments and complex data systems supporting the company's business operations.
• Architecture and integrations: define and develop REST/GraphQL APIs connecting CRM, E-commerce and other internal systems.
• AI in Production: develop AI-based solutions, such as intelligent bots, data-analysis tools and advanced automation, with a focus on scaling and performance.
• Technical leadership: write clean code, set development Best Practices, conduct Code Reviews, and provide professional mentoring to junior developers.
Requirements:
• 3-5 years of software development experience in Backend / Full-Stack in a Production environment.
• Excellent command of Python or Node.js, with advanced use of OOP principles and Design Patterns.
• Proven experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and non-relational databases (MongoDB), including query optimization.
• Proven experience developing REST APIs, working with Webhooks, and familiarity with cloud
infrastructure (AWS / GCP / Azure).
• A B.Sc. in Computer Science / Software Engineering, or a background in a military technology unit.
Significant advantage
Experience developing or integrating language models (OpenAI, Claude API), process-improvement tools, or innovative AI platforms.
Additional advantages:
Experience in Computer Vision projects (YOLO, Edge AI), NLP and chatbots (Rasa, NLTK), Web/Full-
Stack development (React, Node.js), Data Analysis, or AI development tools (Claude Code, Codex).
