QA & Automation Engineer

A technology-driven company operating in the digital comparison and performance marketing space is looking for a QA & Automation Engineer to join its growing R&D team.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, stability, and performance of web applications while helping build and expand the company’s QA automation capabilities. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex problems and wants to take part in establishing automation processes from the ground up.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, plan, and execute QA testing strategies for web applications

  • Work closely with development teams throughout the full product lifecycle

  • Help establish QA automation processes and infrastructure

  • Develop and maintain automated end-to-end regression and sanity test suites

  • Identify testing gaps and improve overall test coverage

  • Perform manual testing when needed to ensure high UX/UI quality standards

  • Validate product functionality before releases

  • Support ongoing software maintenance including updates, patches, and bug resolution

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of QA experience including manual testing and test automation

  • Experience testing complex web applications

  • Experience building automated tests using frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, or similar

  • Experience testing APIs using tools such as Postman

  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies and writing test documentation

  • Experience working with DevTools (Console, Network)

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills

  • High attention to detail while maintaining a broad system perspective

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Excellent Hebrew and English communication skills (written and spoken)

  • Experience with Testim.io or similar platforms - Advantages

  • Experience working with SQL databases - Advantages

  • Experience working with AI development tools such as Cursor - Advantages

  • Familiarity with CMS platforms such as WordPress - Advantages
