Technical Operations Specialist

We are looking for a Technical Operations Specialist to join the growing engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, working with cloud platforms, supporting developers, and improving operational processes. You'll work closely with the Development Manager and play a key role in keeping the development environment running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage development, staging, and production environments.

  • Handle user access, permissions, and identity management.

  • Support deployment processes and validate releases.

  • Troubleshoot environment, configuration, deployment, and access issues.

  • Work with AWS services including IAM, S3, CloudFront, Route53, Secrets Manager, and CloudWatch.

  • Maintain platform configurations, environment variables, and secrets.

  • Collaborate closely with software engineers to resolve operational challenges.

  • Document operational procedures and improve internal processes.

  • Identify opportunities for automation and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience in Technical Operations, IT, Technical Support, or a similar role.

  • Hands-on experience with AWS.

  • Working knowledge of Linux.

  • Experience using Git.

  • Ability to write and understand basic SQL queries.

  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Fast learner with a proactive mindset.

  • Excellent communication skills and a service-oriented approach.

  • Experience with Kubernetes. - Advantage

  • Experience with Devtron.- Advantage

  • Experience working with APIs.- Advantage

  • Basic scripting or programming knowledge (JavaScript, TypeScript or Python).- Advantage

  • Previous experience supporting software development teams.- Advantage
