A growing digital marketing agency based in Tel Aviv, specializing in branding, performance, and creative services for Israeli SMBs, is looking for a strategic and driven VP of Customer Strategy & Operations to lead the company's client-facing activities and operational excellence.

You are a highly experienced leader with a deep understanding of customer lifecycle management, digital marketing operations, and strategic account development. You're just as comfortable sitting with a key client to map a growth plan as you are streamlining internal delivery processes or mentoring your team. You think commercially, act proactively, and thrive in a fast-paced agency environment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the overall customer strategy, including client satisfaction, retention, upselling, and long-term relationship development.

  • Manage and grow relationships with strategic clients through regular communication, business reviews, and added-value planning.

  • Supervise and optimize all client-related operations, ensuring high-quality service delivery, consistent brand messaging, and on-time campaign execution.

  • Manage a multidisciplinary team, including client success managers, digital campaign leads, and content coordinators.

  • Collaborate with creative and media teams to develop holistic marketing strategies tailored to each client.

  • Build and implement scalable workflows, automation, and digital systems that improve client delivery and agency efficiency.

  • Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and development of client-facing staff across departments.

  • Reduce churn by identifying and resolving gaps in the client journey and proactively building retention mechanisms.

  • Implement data-driven insights to monitor performance, identify improvement areas, and drive strategic planning.

  • Prepare and present monthly client success and operations reports to leadership.

Requirements:

 

  • Proven experience in a senior client management or operations role within a digital marketing agency or online media environment.

  • Hands-on experience managing teams, clients, and cross-functional digital projects.

  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and mentoring abilities.

  • Strong understanding of marketing funnels, creative delivery, performance metrics, and digital workflows.

  • Ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously, with strong prioritization and organizational skills.

  • Proficiency in digital tools and platforms (CRM, task management, marketing automation, analytics).

  • Experience with employee recruitment, onboarding, and internal training initiatives.

  • A strategic mindset combined with sharp operational execution.
